TG, I’m not disagreeing with you on the general trend as far as the general economy is concerned. (although we lost jobs in December again).

But that doesn’t mean that individual houses values won’t fall from their precarious perches. Even as the economic decline has been arrested thanks to government action, there is still plenty of housing speculation “recycling” yet to occur.

Granted, my view is of Downtown San Diego and surrounding areas. I still believe that plenty of speculators will run out of wherewithal unless prices magically return to peak and beyond to make them whole again. That’s the market that I’m watching and I’m not seeing any let-up in distress.

With that said, I’m not a naysayer as I want modest economic growth so the Democrats and Obama get reelected. The economic policies of Democrats and Republicans aren’t much different. I just prefer the social and international-relations agenda of Democrats.

As far as California goes, I like Arnold. Too bad that he can’t run again.
