ParticipantIf these were pay option arms and they were set up on a neg am schedule then reducing the Outstanding principal balance might simply bring the loan balance back to the original loan balance on the property. I would like to drill down on this to get a better idea of the reduction before making any judgements.

ParticipantI don’t know why anyone would be upset about the short sales. Everyone always complains about how long they take and how much of a pain in the ass they are so what is the problem with that?
The loan mods and reductions. I gave up getting mad about those a long time ago.
