I wonder why the conservatives like to emphasize that Obama is half-white, half-black.

Is that supposed to be bad in of itself?

Perhaps they are trying to say that being half is not as good as being whole.

To me, that reflects the prejudices of the old generation. Young people don’t see this as a big deal at all, especially in California.

I think that there is a culture gap, as well as a generational gap at play here.

I would love to hear it from the mouths of the conservatives on here.
