Dear Piggs, is anybody familiar with the park village area in PQ (south to CA-56 and west to black mountain Rd). We have been interested in buying in this area. How about this community?
We recently looked at two small twinhomes (1127sf) near the Spindletop Rd. Both were listed around $409,000 at ~$364/sf. One pended for sale for a few days but was then back to market till now; and the other one was in contingency in one day showing. These homes are appealing to us because of low monthly fees, in good school district, having a feeling of house and in our affordable range. But are they worth the $$? The pricing at $364/sf is close to that in CV and much more expensive than nearby listings. Any comments or advice? Much appreciated.
IMHO, it’s insane for anyone to pay this kind of money for sheds like these. How could one possibly justify such a purchase from any perspective? If it’s right on the beach as a vacation property, I say yeah maybe. But as a primary residence, 1127 sf for >$400K? Have we lost our collective mind?
