I am talking about the larger ones like Cape La Jolla, Windemere, La Jolla Shores Heights, El Dorado… There are very few on the market, so I don’t have a feel about how their price (d)evolved. Anybody familiar with those complexes and their price history, or other issues?
I would really love to buy a townhome of 1900-2000 sf in LJ. That would reduce our commutes to like 10′ each – a dream. But even 600K is still mind-boggling, as many of those are built in late 70s, very high HOAs, but hey, it’s the location, plus the schools are pretty good I’ve heard. Supposedly the higher end housing still has quite a way to go, and townhomes should be hit worst,although now nobody knows anymore what with the government interventions and all.
Is there a chance to see those larger townhomes under 600K? Or they have already bottomed out?
