There are some nice properties with good values in Valley Center, but I have felt it was too far from everything like banks, gas, grocery, restaurants. But I’m not ruling it out of my home search.
I work from home with no kids so commuting and schools are not issues.

Funny, but almost surely false – even on hottest days it does not get hot enough to require AC before 9 or so. At 7 AM it will be nice and cool and there may even be fog.
