I am trying to make an offer on a house, but the land between its backyard and the main road is a small flat parcel. I wonder if the land could be developed or if it was owned by a private party. If the land get developed, obvious I will lost my view.
If this kind of thing is not available on city web site, which service center do I go and how much do I expect to pay to get the information ?

Mailing address is trickier to get, you may need to go to the county clerk’s office in Kearny Mesa for that.
