We are looking for a house with view in the $900K-$1.1M range. We have seen 13 houses in the past 2.5 months, usually 3 at a time.

The reasons why we are considering the change is:

1) Except for the 1st or 2nd time, our realtor won’t say anything negative about the houses

2) He wants us to make an offer on every house that we showed interest on. But we have never made an offer so far

3) The triggering incident: We wanted to make an offer which is 7.5% lower than the list price. He reacted quite negatively on the phone. I argued the house is over-priced and would like to try out the offer even I admit the chance of getting it accepted is low as the property has been out for only a month. He insisted the house is priced right based on the upgrades that it has. But to me we don’t appreciate the upgrades and most of them are deemed unnecessary in my opinion. And also, the upgrade is over-stated by our realtor by almost 3 times (as the seller has stated the money he spent in Zillow).

The price I am willing to offer is within Zillow’s range, as well as the price assessed by the Property Tax dept.

My realtor implied how troublesome it is to submit an offer and I would say he literally hanged up on me…

Am I too difficult? Need your opinion.
