__________________Look a little harder and you will find plenty. There is a thread here somewhere focusing on La Jolla, where big drops are becoming commonplace. I had to go no further than the last high-end closing in LJ to find a $600K/31% loss since ’04.

I think there is still a long way to go, but there are plenty of examples of large drops that have already occurred.

I agree. Here is one on the same street as you mentioned. The house isn’t fancy but all in all I think the buyer got a decent deal.

I wouldnt buy that house at any price for anything other than a rental.
