I noticed in SDL a similar home same sq ft closed for 350K. One should not pay more that that, perhaps you can get it even for low 300K. CMR has held up pretty well in prices. I can’t see visible flaws with it, seems well kept and it is in CMR, a good location. close enough to shopping and good schools. Personally I like the area. Check to see if I-15 noise bothers you, and if it’s close enough to the golf course that golf balls would land in your yard. Being that old it may have some issues, but a good inspector should point those out.

June 23, 2009 at 4:06 PM #419892sdrealtorParticipantScarlett’s advice is wonderful if you do not want to own that property. I have a few condos that size listed nearby in the mid 300’s all with much higher HOA and MR fees. They are condos not houses. All have plenty of offers on them right now.
BTW, the house that sold for 350K if it is the one I think it is was an absolute disaster of a house. probably needed 6 figures in repairs.

There was a constant buzz of traffic coming off the 15 all day long. Even if the road noise doesn’t bother you much, your resale value could be impacted. Traffic on the 15 will surely increase over time.
