    I quite often check the latest statistics on Pre Foreclosures and Trustee Sales using Realty Trac.

    For the last couple of months NODs have been running around 130 per day, on average. In April and May I saw Trustee sales running around 80 houses a day.

    Since June 1st until the 5th, Pre foreclosures popped to 799 or about 160 a day. But…more importantly, Trustee sales are showing 1399 for the first 5 days! That is somewhere around 280 per day!!

    Now, maybe there is something I am not aware of but I have been watching these numbers for quite some time and I have never seen this happen. From what I can tell 75% of them are SFR.

    Is this the wave that everyone has been predicting/

    Any and all comments welcome. If I am missing something please feel free to correct me.

    I hope so. It may be the trustee sales catching up to the record NOD count a couple months ago.
