ParticipantI didn’t notice any damage my house (yet). But I cannot speak to any of the other dozens of houses they did this to.

ParticipantI’ve had better ones. We got a note from a curbside painter company stating “Warning, the fire dept requires that your number to be easily identifiable in case of emergency….XYZ curbside painting had be contacted to paint your curb numbers for $40 in compliance with the fire code and recommended by the HOA” or something to that effect.
These curbside painters are nothing more than crooks. I reported them to both the HOA and the police. Never showed up again.
The irony is that if you don’t take down the flyer, they assume you want the painting, then they try to bill you afterwards. In the past I’ve taken a company or two to small claims court. The end result was they ended up paying my court fees plus I got a freely painted curbside number ๐
