LAAFTERHOURS
ParticipantTorrey in the summer – good luck. I just called 30 mins ago to book for sunday at Balboa (first time ever trying for balboa) and scored a 728 4some.
I usually walk onto torrey during the week. Show up at 530 and you are assured a tee time before 730. Weekends, I would say drive over at 4-430, drop your bag and head back to the car for some sleep until 10 mins before sun-up. Set an alarm to wake up and you have a tee time. Seems nuts but you are guaranteed a time.

ParticipantI just was able to get a Noon Tee time 2 weeks from now; you have to pay the advance booking fee ($28/player), but it assures you a time – I’m assuming you are a SD resident with ID card, if not good luck.

ParticipantThere are so may bargains out there, take advantage of what is a down year. Golfnow dot com is a clearing house of tee times, like ebay or priceline, half off is easy to find, on weekdays it’s abundant. Not every course but usually enough to keep you busy and for very little scratch.
