I have always wanted to get a pot-bellied pig (miniature pig) as a pet, but despite some heavy googling, I still don’t know if they are allowed in the city of San Diego. The only info I can find in the SD zoning rules is that you can’t run a swine farm. And most pet laws I read in the zoning guide only explicitly talk about dogs and cats. Do any piggs (oh, the irony…) here know anything about this matter? I would hate to get a cute mini-pig as a pet, bond with it, only to have a neighbor file a complain later and causing my pet pig to get hauled away 🙁
