No home is fire proof or even fire resistant in the perfect firestorm. According to some of the law enforcement personnel who worked during this last group of fires, some of the winds were in excess of 75 MPH. The fire can also create its own wind storm. The U.S. firebombed German cities during WWII. The destruction was massive. It is a pipe dream to believe that 4S will survive such a firestorm, with or without fire sprinklers, a tile or cement roof and boxed in eaves. Maybe that makes you sleep better at night, but I would not stake my life or the lives of my family members on it.
