While this helps nobody and is worthless I do wonder if it will help provide some much needed stimulus to the short sale process for lenders sitting on thier ass.

February 22, 2009 at 4:23 PM #352688jpinpbParticipantI already ranted on SDL, but I am so frustrated that I’ll post here, too.
I’m not sure what the strategy is. All they keep doing is postponing and putting off the inevitable. Buying time. When has procrastinating ever made a problem go away? Why can’t the people involved just pull off the band-aid instead of trying to keep a soggy one on? This wound is never going to heal at this rate. Nobody really wants to deal w/this.

February 22, 2009 at 4:52 PM #352228SD RealtorParticipantI hear ya jp… I may have to start going over to SDL and read and post over there as well…
Gotta figure this is nothing but politics though. This is in no way the doings of the lenders, this is the work of our legislature. To be specific our state legislature.
In no way will this help and as Jim pointed out on his sight this only provides more incentives for people to STOP paying on the mortgages and live for free.
To me this only causes more damage.
