The Westside in L.A. is the North County Coastal area for San Diego. Those who think (or have thought) that the expensive, nice areas in NC are not going to take a big hit need to take a hard look at this article. The pain train has hit the expensive sections of L.A. and it will hit just as hard (or harder) in the best areas of San Diego.

Bought 12/29/2006 for $7,450,000 sold 01/30/2009 for $5,100,000. That’s a loss of $2,350,000 not counting transaction cost, carrying costs, etc.
