The private sector has finally run out of ways to keep the consumer spending spree going, so now the government has to step in and prod the consumer along with cash and now by taking on the risk of new loans the private sector won’t make.

We love the market economy until it stops loving us back, then we seem to have no problem being socialists. But god forbid we get taxed like socialist to pay for it.
