I’ve calmed down some. I will not vote against someone just because they voted for the bailout. I will, however, do my best to vote out anyone in the pockets of the corporations or banks that got us into this mess to begin with. I will take the time to do a little research before I make a rash decision. A simple vote for the bailout, although misguided, doesn’t necessarily mean you are a bad politician, but probably scared from the doom and gloom forecasts from Paulson inc. If, however, it turns out you stood to gain from voting for it in a more direct manner, you deserve to lose.
