Raybyrnes, my agent has been at allstate for 15-20 years, so he's been around here. I've been with him for about 4 years. Currently, with the exception of life insurance at another firm, everything is with allstate (home, auto, extra personal property,umbrella). Every year, I crunch through the numbers to see if similar insurance from other reputable companies come out better, but with a consolidated policy from allstate, it's still the best value versus coverage. Insurance from AAA has been comparable, but allstate's price for it's coverage are still better.
I was mainly concerned about Allstate, because I remember reading this article about allstate no longer writing home insurance policies in CA.
