It sucks but you have to pay for historical stuff beyond the month.
However (someone can correct me if I am wrong) they get the data they post from the fishwrap, (SD Union) so if you find the day of the month that the union prints out the data, which is usually like the 10th-14th or something like that, then you can start going back month by month.
This is a guess mind you assuming that the union prints this stuff. Maybe they do not and send it straight to dataquick but I would be willing to be a few clams that they print it out.
Esmith as posted a link to a site that has all recorded sales for the county and I have gathered data from that site before. If I remember right they go back a few years at least. Look back a few days in the posts and you will find it.

September 1, 2008 at 8:13 AM #264741jhParticipantThanks SD Realtor. I looked at the Esmith post and the data was not compiled in the same manner as the DataQuick. There was a Union Tribune website that had the data, but it was wrong. They were missing months, zip codes, etc.
I guess I may have to take a trip to the library! Although I would like to avoid that if necessary. I don’t know if other people on this site compile the same data as me.

September 1, 2008 at 9:06 AM #264805XBoxBoyParticipantSan Diego Union-Tribune posts and keeps the Dataquick data on it’s site. You can access it here:
http://realestate.signonsandiego.com/area_homesales/index.php
It isn’t very well organized, but you should be able to find what you want going back through 1998
I’m not sure entire SD stats are there, but you can get stats where the county is broken down into five groups.
Hope that helps
