So I did a little more checking. NOD filed 11/21/2007

Original Loan : $647,200.00
Default In.. : P&I 08/15/2007
Reinstate Date: 11/09/2007
Reinstate Amount: $11,384.00

I have a feeling this may be going back to the bank eventually (surprised it hasn’t yet). Do you think this is one of those where he stops making payments for 6 months to a year, banks the mortgage, banks the rent and voila, instant cash. Easy money. And more stealth inventory.
