I found this link in a craigslist add. I am thinking about buying secondhand cabinets for the rental I am building. Don’t think I want to participate in something like this or the removal of anything that is not from a legitimate remodel. I get the feeling plenty of the adds are about people selling the goods. I would just stay away unless it is just regular furniture. Probably just end up trying to get a bargain on new cabinets.
What do you all think about the ethics and the add?
In seriousness though, you probably need to check out the construction quality of the cabiinets. Some cabinets really are one time install use. If you try to dismantle stuff and hang them back up, the partical board crap of some of these cabinets end up disintegrating.
