I can’t comment on the short sale aspect but I can tell you this is essentially a condo or PUD with the property line being your neighbor’s house. No yard but you’re close to a nice park at the top of D-street, and brand new public library. You can walk to the coaster station/downtown Encinitas in about 2 minutes. You can’t beat the location. I’m suspicious of the no HOA claim. Overpriced in my opinion, I know big shocker coming from this forum. I bet you could rent this place for 2,500-2,800/month if you’re into comparing rent vs. mortgage.

I lived in Cardiff a little farther from the tracks and could hear the freight train come through at 3am, especially when the horn blew.April 3, 2008 at 11:17 AM #180534DoofratParticipantThe only catch I see for the location is that you’re right next to the train tracks, and the tracks are exposed at ground level there.
