Yeah, well, I have always believed in the power of negative thinking and abhorred positive thinking.
It’s not that great here. I’m grateful for what i have, but I’m not kidding myself. This country is no fun.
We are stressed out. we are unhappy. We are not starving but we’re fatter than ever. We are eating and dreiving ourselves to death.
We’re anxious.
No parent can ever relax. We all lvie in fear for our children. My parents used to not watch us liek hawks. We live in a culture of fear today. It is a violent, cruel, ccrazy, dangerous country. We lock each other up, including kids,a nd kill each other, legally and otherwise, at one of the highest rates int he world. it’s a symptom of a sickness. It’s not a sign of a free society. It’s a sign of a mad society. we may not be broke, but we may be broken.
I’d rather have freedome from religion especially emanating from the governemtn, than the freedom to worship. Im not likely to get that anytime soon.
I’m grateful to be healthy. but I consider it justa lucky break in a sick society.
There is so much wealth, so inequitably distributed, with somuch pain, and so little organized response to human suffering in this society, that it should make us all feel ashamed.
