Correct me if I am wrong but you live in PB don’t you? Mira Mesa is a much different environment. As AN pointed out Parkdale is buys right off of MM Blvd but after a few blocks in either direction it thins out.
Mira Mesa is very diverse compared to PB. I have lived there and have never had any problems. Crime wise there are parts of MM that have had some crime. Guys like AN have grown up here, gone to school here and continue to live in or around MM. As far as schools go MM schools are part of San Diego Unified. I do not know how strong they rank within the test score structure… My guess without looking on line is that they are middle of the pack but I could be very wrong in either direction.
Like any other community mentioned on Piggington some people will be down on MM and others will not. Obviously it is a VERY short commute to Qualcomm.
Again though… it is MILES apart from PB. No jumping on the bikes and cruising around Crown Point or anything like that.
