At first I thought this site contained a diverse group of objective posters, but lately I’ve come to find you are all the same. Numbers oriented, mostly bitter, engineers. I must say goodbye, at least for a while, as the last week or so of threads has been an utter waste of time. I’ll check back later to see if anything worthwhile pops up.

One last piece of parting advice. If you work for a public company (ie. Qualcomm), and you’ve set a price target to exercise your options, but when it gets to that price (likely a round number like $45 or $50 for no arbitrary reason), you decide to raise your exercise price because it “got there too fast” or “you know good things are coming” and then the price never hits that newly raised price and subsequently drops back well below where you could have exercised it, don’t come crying back to this board about your missed opportunities. Those of you who’ve done this know exactly what I’m talking about (with QCOM the same price as it was 7 years ago – THAT is missed opportunity).

So, maybe that is why you expect real estate to drop to it’s price of 7 years ago as well? Don’t make this same mistake on the downside as well.
