Jimmy I know for a fact that any homes in 92126 are served by the SD unified. Thus if you are off of calle cristobal in 92126 then your kids are going to mira mesa high school and associated schools in mira mesa.
Now if you are in 92121 down at the far west end of calle cristobal I am not positive which school the kids would be going to. You can check with sdusd to find out. It is a pretty easy process. I have a sinking feeling your kids still end up going to sdusd but I could VERY WELL be wrong.

Previously, Jimmy has been looking in Mira Mesa. But now, since prices in Mira Mesa has gone down so much, he’s considering Sorrento Valley. When prices go down, financially capable buyers don’t spend less. They spend roughly the same, getting a better house.
Sorry for the digression π

In 2005 we were looking mostly old and small homes in Mira Mesa and in late 2006 we moved on to the newer and bigger Mira Mesa houses and now suddenly it seems Sorrento Valley is within reach if the price drops 10-15% more. My wife even suggested Carmel Valley because some houses there are listing at $599K and we thought next one or two years those could be in the low 500s.
I guess that is why we need the Case-Shiller index.
