I actually heard about this from someone who lives in the area when I was in Westlake Village last week for a job interview. It is amazing how one outragous story makes the rounds so quickly. Talk about skewing your perceptions of eviction behavior. Anyway, there was a huge Countrywide office there, so maybe the perpetrator lost his/her job and their house to the same company. Just speculation but I imagine we will be reading about this house in the newspapers/national websites before the month is over. Bad news like this travels at light speed.
