    We have a 35% decrease in Aliso Viejo, Orange County, per ZipRealty.

    List price: $274,900 (10/30/2007)

    Sale History
    08/10/2007: $369,000
    10/26/2004: $423,500
    03/01/2002: $225,000
    10/12/1999: $158,000

    “Single story unit with private patio, great for first time buyer. Features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, spacious living room and dining area, inside laundry room, 2 car garage detached.”

    I’m starting to count my dollar bills…

    Love to see these real world examples. Much appreciated.

    I would have expected to see more of this in San Diego, in the areas comparable to those in the OC. Only time will tell…..

    There’s also a 26% decrease in Seal Beach, OC, per Zillow.

    Sale History:

    09/05/2007: $1,310,000
    07/11/2007: $1,242,000
    09/07/2005: $1,775,000
    05/13/1999: $615,000

    The house info on Zillow is a little out-dated. This house is 2700+ sq feet and is right across the street from the beach (with a partial ocean view). This was a Countrywide REO which was reposessed on 7/11/07. Countrywide listed the house $1,269,000 and it sold in a couple of weeks.
