Well put partypup, my sentiments exactly. The problem is stupidity rules with an iron fist. America sleeps as we slowly slip into a facist state. In the mean time, oil depletion is going to hit the already teetering american economy like the hammer of god.

We have become a country incapable of thinking and we deserve the incapable leaders that we elect.

The Amercian civilization is not unlike the housing bubble in that it is unsustainable. A few tweaks of the dials will not help.
