Mary Ann may have been Mary Ann may have been hotter, but at least Ginger knew how to use her sex appeal β low cut evening gowns with the Jane Mansfield bra, breathy voice, a ton of mascara- and she macked with every guy on the island (except Mr. Howell, even though he was old and rich). Her dress even completely fell off in one episode.
All Mary Ann could do was bake a mean coconut cream pie and be way too happy about everything. It would have been refreshing to see a really pissed off Mary Ann, at least once

The question was between The question was between Ginger or Mary Anne. Though somewhat vague, I thought it meant which you’d want to have sex with, not a relationship, not who you’d marry.
Maybe if I were a guy I’d be the modelizer type. Watching the youtube video, they both are very appealing, but Ginger was extremely sexy and worked it (around 4:30, looks like she had a belly ring – back in the ’60’s!). Mary Anne would be your best friend/buddy, albeit very beautiful.
But personality, Mary Anne was sweet and nice and Ginger was the hottie that would do it. I keep remembering the one episode – and I don’t know why I remember this one in particular – where she sang “I just want to be loved by you” whispering it. Man – who wouldn’t want that!
