I guess my point that every here is missing is that ‘class’ is not solely determined by salary.

I know people who are from well-off families and work as middle school teachers making $125K in total. They are much better off than I as they have no student loans, parents bought them a house and cars, etc.

Class is determined more by net worth than by annual income.

My family makes almost $250K per year and we are definitely not rich.

Cars 700*12 = 8,400 (includes insurance)
