Participant
Perhaps Mr O should be shielding “gaffe a minute Joe” from the press..
“Barack is the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.”
Why in his very home state, you can’t even go to a 7-11 or Dunkin Donuts without having a slight Indian accent.”
“Chuck, stand up, let the people see you. Oh, God love ya. What am I talking about?” (the dude is in a wheelchair)
“When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn’t just talk about the princes of greed”
“Hillary Clinton might have been a better pick”
Simple fact.. If Palin made these comments she would be written off as the biggest no nothing dunce on the planet. If Mac made the statements it would be proof positive that he was senile and had lost his marbles..
If your point is that Biden has a stronger rep and that it keeps people from saying he is either a dunce or senile (which seems to be your implication), then I agree with you.
As far as whether they should muzzle his ass, as a liberal democrat, I also agree it might be a good idea.Still, that loose canon aspect is why he has been my favorite candidate for some time. While he is a total non-contender as far as pres, he still makes me laugh.
Also, did the author of this thread call him “brain williams”???? Thats funny.

ParticipantWhile the title of this thread is definitely in the Lou Dobbs direction, I would like to draw attention to the ecosystem and culture surrounding the run up in sale prices.
Perhaps its because I am reading “The Lucifer Effect” but I think that its too facile a view to simply find out who should be sued or hated. I would like to see a better discussion regarding culture and how it makes things fall apart.

ParticipantYeah. I actually do that also. Since they have the same broker, permission is not really an issue.
Many of the blind ads in craigslist are this kind of thing.

Participant
urban: it is mean, i agree
“buy now or be priced out forever” was also mean and proved to be very harmful to, perhaps, millions of Americans
my comment was hurtful, not harmful…brutal honesty is often a very good wake-up call…America sure could use one
Sure dude. You seem much more noble now.
You basically bragged about being a rude tool to a stranger. When I criticized you for it, you defend it by claiming that salesmen are…well.. sales-y and that you are doing him some sort of favor by being “brutally honest”. Makes me wonder what kind of favors could be done for you.
I am sure he benefited greatly from your noble lesson.
I certainly have.
