ParticipantEnorah has a point in her criticism.
Literally I think Boyle is accurate but the implication that he is a black muslim and a terrorist all kind of wrap up together.
The part I find compelling here is that regardless of which of these is being imputed here, neither is acceptable.
It is not reasonable to say that he is unqualified either because of his religion or because of his race.
Likewise, the assertion that he is a terrorist sympathizer or a terrorist himself requires some evidence to have any validity. Ted Kennedy, as a Roman Catholic Irish-American is about as likely to be a terrorist based on these superficial criteria.

ParticipantMost of what I am seeing in buyers would fall under this rubric.
TG: you are right. My numbers are off. I think 65-80k a year would be closer to what I am thinking of. Sorry.
One question: If there are 2 people grossing 25k a year each (12.50/hr) they are likely going to be taxed at a slightly lower rate than one person making 50k. Am I right or wrong about this?
That being said, most couples that are looking for a purchase make at least 60 a year. At least the ones I am seeing. When you figure that in a 2000 hr per person per year that works out to only 15/hr, its not so far-fetched. I am seeing those houses rent for $1700/mth but again, this may be just my experience.

Participant
I think 55 years old 2 bed / 1 bath housing unit is expensive @ $300K. What kind of income is required for that, like $60K/year with 20% down (loan would be 4x annual salary)?
Well it might be expensive for some but others really like having a yard and a view.
As far as required income, I think a combined total of 48-50 a year would probably make that fly. We are talking payments of like $1350-1500 per month. I think most couples could afford that.
