ParticipantWhile I prefer threadjacks that involve fun facts about sharks or hot bare legs, I am okay with this.
On a more serious note, I am curious if this kind of behavior will be mimicked in other countries or here in the US (the shoe-throwing, not the threadjacking).
James thank you for the images.
They were just what I needed after walking around with my 4 month old strapped to my chest in the hot mexican sun. The beer helped also.

Participant
Dan: On a more serious note, I wanted to wish you and yours a safe and Merry Christmas holiday.

Well thanks and to yours as well.
Also, and on the music front: Did you ever catch any shows at Keystone Palo Alto or Toso Pavilion (Univ. of Sta. Clara)? Just curious.
No. The only shows I have seen on the peninsula are Steely Dan and someone else (green day maybe?) at the shoreline.
My mom had a great term for those members batting for the other team: She called them “musical”. Not trying to imply anything here…
While I like musicals (Moulin Rouge being my favorite) I don’t bat for anyone’s team. Talking as I am prone has gotten me called a homophobe and a conservative (among other things) many times. I wish people had fewer teams. But that is for a different thread…urbanrealtor

ParticipantThis is off the top of my head but I think there is a maximum limit of 3 years before changing loans will give you a penalty. Still lots of loans are written with a 5 year prepay penalty.
The real issue i think is that most lenders will not do second loans anymore.
Also I don’t know if the you can just replace a first loan.
I recommend asking HLS.

ParticipantI like this debate.
I would still be interested in hearing stock expand on some of his more dire predictions.
Specifically where he sees the 8% reduction in gdp come from.
