The Chinese are reasonable. They at least don’t have a religion that says that they should be killing people who aren’t following their religion.

They’ve been trying to sell this house for awhile, re-listing it every so often. I’m sure one of the realtors here can tell you more about it.
I drive past the house every few days and the house is very high up on the slope. The cul-de-sac road has a very high slope. The yard itself is mostly slope. And also, the realtor for it is Battiata and wasn’t there something shady going on with this realtor some time ago?
Anyways, not a terrific place.
On the bird’s view, try rotating around the house to get an idea of all the slope problems.

Participant
I wish I could join you guys in this discussion with regards to specifics, but it’d be over my head. I’m not as educated as you guys about foreign policy, foreign affairs and the military. I should have paid attention in class more, instead I had my mind on painting my toenails and coach handbags. Ah, more’s the pity. :)
No wonder you’re voting for Obama… π

Participant
edit: just re-read your post – you are suggesting that the banks will foreclose on the construction loans and will let 11,000 condos sit vacant until the market recovers?
Never underestimate the stupidity of banks!
I imagine what will happen is that they will hold on to the condos as long as they can, hoping the market will come back. Then they will probably declare bankruptcy or fail and close up shop. During the prevailing auction, someone will buy the condos for pennies and then will have to spend money re-habbing it for sale or for rent.
In this scenario, it sounds like the condos won’t hit the general population until a few years.
If the banks were smart, they would dump them on the market and just take the hit, but so far, all the banks with huge numbers of properties have not followed that particular line of thinking.
