ParticipantIt’s a Republican administration bill backed more by Democrats than Republicans yet the Democrat speaker supporting the bill was responsible for its failure? That makes no sense.
I’m thinking the raitio of voter support against the bill (last I heard on CNN, the email/fax/call-in remarks were 200-1 against) was what killed it.
Not sure if Pelosi’s speech had anything to do with killing the bill, but if it did, I’m all for whatever she said.
