ParticipantI’m not one to like any politicain, and I’m certain Obama will just continue to carryon the bailout nonsense, which I hate.
But I must admit, he’s a smooth and classy individual. I think he will present a much more palatable face to the rest of the world.
As far as Geither not paying his taxes. Well, I’m all for not paying taxes. More power to him. Maybe he didn’t feel it was money well spent. We all know if we could get away with it, we would. He just got caught.

ParticipantPer zip code is important because the timing of each zip code is different. The economy affects different economic brackets at different times.
However, none are immune. Right now, be most afraid of those that have not dropped much.
Also – look back to 2005, not just 2007.
And, be sure to separate condos from SFR by zip code.
We often get posters here who are trying to find information and opinions to help settle differences between spouses. We typically side with the spouse who thinks they should wait.
This is a great time to rent in San Diego. San Diego is a great place, but most people stress about the high cost of buying a house. But, renting aint that bad. Rent a great place and enjoy San Diego without worrying about depreciation, maintenance, homeowner fees and the like.
You definitely don’t want to buy a place if you could potentially move soon – as a military family, that is. You’ll lose 6% just in the transcaction.
You saw the Matrix? Your husband has taken the red pill.
