ParticipantTerrorism is attemping to control specific people or society in general using terror.
Terrorism requires not only an act of violence, but a request made to other potential victims.
That is – if I just kill a bunch of people then go away, I’m not a terrorsist.
But if I kill a bunch of people, then say “free my bretheren from prison or I’ll kill again” then that’s terrorism.
Has nothing to do with Muslim or not Muslim. The quesiton is – what was this guy trying to accomplish and did he demand anything first ?

ParticipantIf you like wanton destruction, nothing compares to a live Battlebots event.
Nothing.
“I shouldn’t be alive” is an excellent show but it’s just too heavy for me. Keeps me up at night.
I never actually caught an episode of the destrutive brothers, but I remember seeing a trailer for it. It sounds pretty funny.

ParticipantThe disconnect is not what banks are “allowed” to pay their people. They should be allowed to pay them whatever they want to maintain profitability.
The disconnect is that they are not allowed to fail when they pay their people too much to do things that would (without bailout money) run the company into the ground.
Take away their safety net and watch the salaries dry up.
