Participant
One more expense I forgot to address is private contractors who significantly overcharge the govt.
I don’t disagree with this, but it seems that this is exactly what the unions are – private contractors overcharging the government. Same thing, really.

ParticipantWhen I was 20, yes. Arthroscopic surgery is supposed to get you in and out with no hospital stay and back on your feet in a few days.
Like every surgery I have ever had, this one came with significantly more swelling that should have happened. I was out of commission for a couple weeks, but that is supposedly not typical.
I have not had trouble w/ my knee since.

Nice size lots.
One problem with alleys is that they require more road maintenance, nearly twice as much as front loading houses.
Just so happens those have alleys AND garage in the back. An ally in back is not a requirement for a garage in the back, unless you want to make it a pull-through garage or avoid the side-of-the-house driveway. Those Bay Park houses have driveways leading back to the garage from the front.

ParticipantI would guess it is probably be worth doing. If I were a buyer, I would notice that for sure and be worried.
Taking up carpet and putting the same carpet back down isn’t really all that costly for a professional installer.
Possible to get to it from underneath? Remove the drywall on the ceiling, put in glue and shim shingles. Maybe some johnson paste wax and a grease gun.
