Gee, that indeed is worse than 2 years ago!!! 2 years ago, I owned in RB close to Lake Hodges and NC mall,and the whole commute from our place to UCSD was like 45-50′. Evening were worse, it was a bad bottleneck at the junction 56/5. I assume it only got worse. Commute at rush hour, that’s what killed us, and made us sell our home.

Do you know if they even CAN expand the 56 to 3 lanes? It seems to me they really don’t have the room to do so.

I was going to ask you if you tried going around, via 52, but it’s a big detour from Del Sur.

How about the PQ area around Adolphia/Pipilo/Salmon River? How are the houses/yards/people? (Note: we definitely do not want a pool, and it seems that it was in fashion at the time (70s-80s) many houses in PQ were built.
We saw there some houses around there that were just under $600K, which is our limit. Park village, though very nice, is currently a bit out of range for us. That’s not to say it couldn’t fall enough to get into our price range.

How do you find out if the owner of your rental has NOD, NOT, Trustee sale?? Is there a public website you can just input the address?

How about the last sales date & price?

Thanks, KCTxr – good luck to you too! where are you looking to lease? We rent a pretty nice townhome in La Jolla Colony, but it’s like $2400 for a 1700 sf+.
We also thought that we’ll buy in 1-3 yrs, and that we’ll move in PUSD once our daughter is done with preschool – either rent or buy.
