I need to get the permit (1-3 hours I heard, DMV wait style), baby sit the plumbers + inspection, and go 24 hours without gas. Considering I’m paid by the hour right now it’s just painful.
As long as the risk is very low then I think it’ll be okay to skip a permit.

ryphoenixParticipantDitto here. I would have 2 cars parked in the garage, and am not planning to have a workshop. So seems like an attached garage would make more sense for me. Still undecided on kitchen vs bedroom entrance though.
