Rich ToscanoKeymaster
I see a big market for dog-sized elephants, too. Always have. Uncanny how this guy and I think alike.
I agree completely, but even the elephants won’t be as popular as the multi-ton cockroach vehicles. I mean, why would you want to ride inside a car, when you could ride on top of a gigantic, omnivorous, disease-carrying insect?
I like the line of thinking. Maybe they can also make giant maggots that we can ride around like the sandworms in Dune. Or human sized, hyperintelligent earwigs to be our au pairs.
It’s funny, I used to think of biotech in terms of curing disease. But I was all wrong. We need to focus on the creation of enormous, revolting insect-hybrid monstrosities to serve as our transportation and, eventually, our overlords.

Rich ToscanoKeymaster
As bad as “The Powers That Be” are here in the U.S.A., they are far worse most everywhere else.
Here in the US, they would just print a bunch of money to solve the problem.
How is not printing your way out of every problem “far, far worse?”
I’d say it’s better.
edit:
To be clear, I meant that the behavior of the ECB is better than its US counterpart.
Greece may be worse than the US in terms of its indebtedness… but only marginally so! π

Rich ToscanoKeymasterSorry, basically the spam system is a bit aggro on some things. It doesn’t seem to like things that just consist of links. Unfortunately I can’t approve stuff, it just gets tagged and rejected. Over time, the more non-spam (in its opinion) that you post, the more you are able to post but if you start out of the gate with just a link it doesn’t like that.
Sorry for the hassle but the spam problem has gotten completely out of control and an automated system to manage it is necessary.
I am going to push for a way to whitelist people manually but that doesn’t exist right now. In the meantime, sorry for the hassle.
