I do know this: if green energy were economically viable on a large scale (or really any scale), that’s what would be powering my house and car instead of gas and oil.

Do you think viability has anything to do with it? Or the reason mass transit in the LA area no longer exists? Why we all drive 40 miles in gas guzzling cars to work everyday? The oil and car industry killed public transportation and sold us on buying big cars. They tell us it’s not possible to build a car that gets 50+ miles to the gallon and just give up on gas mileage standards set years ago.
How much longer can we rape out planet? Not much longer, but if you are trying to bring about the end of times, I guess it doesn’t matter.

Actually I heard that 90% of D.A.R.E. money is provided by the alcohol industry.Alcohol and tobacco want people doing their drug and not other drugs. I’m sure prescription drugs have a stake in it as well. Pot isn’t legal because it would cut into their profits.

How’d you like Bobby Jindal’s speech?[/quote]
I tuned out when he started talking about a railway from Disneyland to Vegas. On a side note, he needs to find a better way to walk to a podium.
