pedroconParticipantWrong the federal deficit was not $407 billion. This does not include the federal stimulus package which was about 150 billion I think. And of course our wonderful exciting great patriotic war in Iraq. Yipee ride em cowboy all the way to Babylon. I think that’s another $120 billion. This puts us at
a little under $700 billion. $1 trillion here we come (by the was thats $1 trillion in 365 days). By the way did you hear we just committed $1 billion to Georgia ( the country).pedroconParticipantWrong the federal deficit was not $407 billion. When the government is there to ‘solve’ all of our problems for us when we make mistakes, eventually two things happen, we become weak and stupid. Wall Street will continue playing their silly little games, but even they’re in trouble they have no cash. They’ll figure out a way to get out of their bind, after all they have access to the treasury. I personally probably gave them a few hundred dollars this year. There’s still money to be made here, but be ready to jump ship at a moments notice. Remember the constitution worked for a decade or two and has been in decline ever since. Its too utopian. Forget about bringing it back we’re becoming fat, corrupt and feeble. Watch out folks its a big world out there and there are many new kids on the block who know how to balance their books. They’re educated and they know everything about us and we know nothing about them. Then again why should we care “We’re American dangit, a beacon of hope! We shine so bright they can see us from Pluto.”
