Who are the truly smart ones? A simple life is not necessarily a dumb life. I bet they have a much smaller carbon foot print than the majority of Dems in the big cities. That would be interesting to see: which states (red or blue) uses the most energy per capita?
Regarding carbon footprint:

I think that New York City has to lowest per capita carbon footprint of any city in USA because of density, and although it gets very hot and cold there (and thus requires climate control).
Living in high rises, one apartment on top the other, is the best way to save energy.

I agree that a simple life might be a better life.
I also think that an ignorant life is a happier life.

Me, I would rather trade-in contentment for knowledge and learning, and the relentless pursuit of ephemeral happiness.

Participant
This is going to be awesome, not only will I be moving in and destroying the neighborhood’s property value with the comp, I’ll throw a bash and piss off any of the remaining neighbors who don’t care. Might as well, no sense changing anything now and it’s not like I can host a Charger’s superbowl party with Norv Turner at the helm.
I like a guy with a good sense of humor.
I can picture the party. All the neighbors who bought at peak and all the Piggs together. π
1999 price is excellent. Good for you. Congrats!!!

ParticipantThe electoral map speaks for itself.
Locate the medium to large cities and locate the rural areas on the map.

I would consider myself a Mickey Edwards type of Republican. I’m registered Republican but I contributed and voted for Obama.
