ParticipantThe urban legend has it that there are some shady reasons why there aren’t more chinese supermarkets here, but i don’t know if those rumors are true.
really? as in the 99 Ranch at convoy is mafia-owned and has cornered the market on ethnic chinese supermarkets from pandleton to the border?

Participantthere’s Taiwanese breakfast at Chin’s? it is just the Miramar Chin’s? very cool info…
Ranch 99 is better than most Vietnamese supermarkets here in SD in terms of cleanliness. We like Zion Marketplace better (Korean supermarket).
unfortunately that’s not saying much… I guess as you guys go to Zion we end up in Marukai (japanese at Balboa).
a new and clean 99 Ranch would capture back a lot of lost business.

ParticipantBMIT was contacted for the article due to its coverage of the Cromers, due to a need to stay anonymous, BMIT chose not to participate.
is BMIT a celebration of someone’s misfortune? I sure hope not. rather, I hope it serves to demonstrate the overwhelming amount of greed that led to the bubble and then the current collapse.
