Participantthe problem with refined carb is it is highly addictive.
anyone that switched over to whole grain bread/rice/pasta will agree a single serving now seem to be plenty when in the past 2-4 servings would be the norm.
fruits are good in moderation. just don’t drink fruit juices. they may have lots of vitamins, but they are essentially concentrated sugar with the fiber removed.
as for the fat. in moderation of course. you can’t survive on a NO fat diet. but too much fat WILL raise your cholesterol, this is not a conspiracy driven advice.

Participanthey NSD, this is my true story, it completely fits with your loser/smarty post
after I first got married, we rented, we felt like such losers that we were dying to be owners.
when we got our OC condo, I was such a smarty, I felt like I gained 10 points on my IQ!
then we sold the condo and rented, boy did I feel like a total loser. My IQ dropped too! I couldn’t perform as well at work and got demoted once they realized I was a lowly renter.
luckily we are now owners again. I now feel special and the lost IQ are now back! I got promoted too just for being a homeowner again.
there’s your answer NSD…
NOT!

Participantthis 1700 sqft townhome just closed for $522k:
http://www.sdlookup.com/MLS-100034372-11668_Miro_Cir_San_Diego_CA_92131
although if I’m in the market for a scripps home at around half a million, this fixer may be a good one to fix up. except total cost of renovation will be north of $100k.
