I agree, that’s exactly what I see happening with folks with excess cash. They are getting out and purchasing properties.
This is why the lower segments have stabilized. quite frankly it is extremely hard for a working class family to buy a starter home even if they qualify because they are forced to compete with ALL CASH OFFERS in the sub-300k market.
Indirectly, we are now creating more permanent renter class this way and increasing the class divide.

I agree, that’s exactly what I see happening with folks with excess cash. They are getting out and purchasing properties.
This is why the lower segments have stabilized. quite frankly it is extremely hard for a working class family to buy a starter home even if they qualify because they are forced to compete with ALL CASH OFFERS in the sub-300k market.
Indirectly, we are now creating more permanent renter class this way and increasing the class divide.
